In 1992 she released her book called “Molly can't say that can she? “ Which landed her on the new York times best seller list for 29 weeks straight.

In 1997 Ivins was diagnosed with stage lll breast cancer .Fighting the cancer to only have resurface three more times Molly Ivins finally passed away in 2007 at a hospice home in Texas where she was raised.

Not equipped with a built in filter Molly Ivins was truly a journalist ahead of her time a trendsetter a visionary and what I like to reference as a written Renegade.
