            Starting off Monday Night Raw they went with the old promo with Kevin Owens standing in a spot light a Dark Arena

            The prize fighter  absolutely killed it with his promo . He was even mentioned by good ol' jr Jim Ross in a blog of how he stole the show with his MIC skills alone .

           This sets the stage for fast lane and his match against Goldberg . Making him truly a believeable threat to be too smart and too young for Goldberg and his one dimensional straight at you style and his three move repitrua. So I would have preferred Scout Chris Jericho's name insinuating that after beating the hell out of him he wasn't even worth mentioning or acknowledging but otherwise he killed the promo.

        The next issue was how will anyone believe strowman cannot manhandle Roman reigns . Well that proved to be the case as the monster amongst men completely dismantled reigns and yet reigns still crawled to the table to sign the contract to fight at fast lane . This left strowman staring back at him smiling as if he was a kid given the key to the candy store.  This has sparked some interest in this match for sure.  

     Damn Cesaro section again back pain is overcome being injury-prone and is there no limits to his ability.

       Mick Foley  needs to renew and re- package his cheap pop delivery. I loved his “you may not respect me as a wrestler but you're damn sure gonna respect me as a legend” promo that was great.

     The Brian Kendrick cannot carry 205 live himself. He is just not getting over but with the addition of a isawa instead he has been may help a lot.

      There is just more proof of some things you just cannot teach rarely does a wrestler from Asian descent Japanese Chinese or other get over with the WWE fans in America. It is not because of their race. Tajiri a phenomenal example of that and another example of proof that you cannot teach the “IT” factor .

     Here is a “how I'd book it” moment. Jinder Mahal has been on three different ones with the WWE it seems like to me so here is how I get this very talented wrestler who has a good look come over with the WWE Universe. Here to push the envelope at all here's what you do you bringing Gold Dust to work with Jinder Mahal in a behind-the-scenes capacity and you test the waters with a gimmick that has two backups to it you make Jinder Mahal simply “gender” making a gender-confused adult.  I mean really push it in a serious high-profile set of vignettes.  If you get bad publicity for it you could simply say quotes “ why is there some reason for discriminating against transgender or gender confused people?” and I believe if done correctly this Jimmy could have an eventual sand decided baby's face Persona at it and bring transgender confusion and transgendered people trade platform never used and truly can raise even more understanding and awareness for them. But it would have to be done seriously in order to be taken seriously and I don't think the WWE is capable of that.

    The new drop the little bit of that Attitude Era end of their segment which was so awesome. It will be sad when they eventually break up how many teams throughout history have stayed together they really aren't good enough anymore to stand the test of time so new day is a breath of fresh air in the idea and throwback of the solid factions  of yesteryear.

     Don't care to see the club vs Enzo and Cass cause it simply seems like noone cares about the would be monster heels the club and Enzo's routine is growing old. Now if the club had screwed the new day right before breaking the longest tag team title reign then they would have real heat . Sadly they weren't even the dam team to knock off the new day at all.

        So that leaves charolette and Bailey for the women's championship . So for sure Charlotte will go over but I would like to see you shortly over because of Nia jax . This would cheat Bailey out of the title but it would give Maya the chance to face Charlotte at WrestleMania and break her undefeated pay-per-view streak. This is truly what is best for business.

         The last remaining match with WrestleMania implications is Sami Zayn and Samoa Joe. What should happen is Seth Rollins should interfere injuring Samoa Joe leaving Triple H helpless and in a position where he must face Seth Rollins WrestleMania. Because I don't believe anybody wants to see Samoa Joe Vs Seth Rollins there just isn't enough backstory to it for Wrestlemania.

           So in my next blog I will leave you smile and fast ring after that and prepare you for Wrestlemania with my predictions in my final blog On The Road to WrestleMania.

             The Road to WrestleMania continues on Smackdown live as we waited all week for this Luke Harper vs AJ Styles match to determine the number one Contender to face the Wyatt at WrestleMania

         The unbelievable match ended with AJ Styles theme Victorious however not without controversy and said me Luke Harper must wait just a little bit longer for his big push

          So the main event is set .. ..Oh wait no it's not Randy Orton who is rightful opponent changes his mind and wants his msthxh agiainst Bray Wyatt back. So all that Luke vs AJ was wasted to set up AJ styles who is clearly gonna be pissrd and blame shane and with nothing to gain by styles and no reason for shame except for one more mania moment.  We are gonna have to see AJ vs shane o Mac .

    That leaves a brilliant talent in Luke Harper in limbo. So now what for him.  

     John Cena and the miz kill it in a worked shoot on each other. I still see no reason for them to face at mania.  I'd like to see a twist somehow that works Daniel Bryan in so we get a miz Bryan match at mania but you gotta have the miz go over who ever h faces simply cause he has earned that right.  

      Clearly we are gonna see a Dean Ambrose and baron Corbin for the intercontinental title which in all likely was will steal the entire show. I'd love to see a clean match clean win a f a first run for Corbin bringing some credibility to the IC title again .

      

       One last question that I hope fast lane answers …….what about the undertaker ?

OK let me clear the air . Vince Russo is not an idiot . It is not fair to blame him for his horrid ideas n stupid storyline writing. He was born that way.  What is troubling to me is the dummys who employed him . And as for Jeff Jarrett. He has so drawn a dime ! I worked a show hw was on once n saw him getting some thing out of a vending machine . Things in there cost easily $1.50 to $1.75 even .     This week in WWE review

The road to Wrestlemania continues this week in the wake of the Royal Rumble pay per view. First off on the review chopping block is Monday Night Raw.

Raw is the longest running episodic television show in history with 1,244 shows it stands alone in with the accolade the closest second longest is coincidentally WWE Smack down live with 922 episodes.

Raw opens as most shows do with a promo. Kevin Owens is the WWE Universal Champion having retained the title at the rumble. With best friend Chris Jericho at his side they do their usual routine to get over. Great chemistry with the two of them since day one.

The down side to this is they both hold titles that have a history of prestige. The storyline being carried out has made it very difficult to accept them or the belts they hold as serious champions or worthwhile championship titles.

Being that Owens is Universal Champion means that he will main event Mania and it is clear from fan response that he is not yet made it to the caliber that justifies that decision to keep him as champion. He has yet to retain his belt during a defense that was not unassisted so it makes him appear to be weak and shady. Owens is probably one of the top 10 on the roster in his in ring ability. So it’s a sad thing to have him be a weasel champion that cannot stand-alone.

I have never liked this booking style for a heel because it never draws the kind of heat you would want on a main event heel champ. In the end the wrestler that is forced to work in this manner succumbs to eventually irrelevance and obscurity. Unless you are an exceptional ring and mica performer who is able to find a way to adapt and reinvent himself. Its very rare when a wrestler is that good.

So there is uncertain direction for the road to mania and how the WWE universal champ factors in and in what capacity.

So Owens was forced to face Braun Strowman for his title as punishment for cheating to win at the rumble. Strowman is an impressive 6 feet 7 inches and weighs in the range of 365 lbs. He moves and has speed like a guy 1/3 his size which makes him an even more impressive worker. Now not withstanding all those factors, the fact that it is too early in his push as a main eventer and the fact that it’s a television event with only 3 weeks till the next pay per view. It was safe to know that Strowman was not going to win the title. So the M.O. stayed in place as Strowman won the match by count out but he looked as monstrous as ever, Sadly Owens continute his cheap victory story and the unchallenged test he would really need to wrestle a clean match and get the honest win. Soon it will be too late and the fans will dub him that guy and it will be very difficult to recover from that.

So Sami Zany faced Chris Jericho for the U.S. championship and they tore the house down with their match. Zany is amazing in the ring and can make anyone look like a million bucks. However back too much of the same monotony as Jericho had the tainted win.

So Seth Rollins called out Triple H again and the hope is that at mania they will finally face each other in what has a terrific long and well played out storyline, which will make this a great match. However HHH showed up and when Rollins came to the ring he was attacked by newly signed from NXT Samoa Joe. Joe nearly destroyed Rollins and left him motionless for nearly an entire commercial break before being assisted to the back by medical staff. Rollins did sustain an injury but what that was and how severe is still up in the air. With Rollins being the main face of RAW it will be very bad if he is unable to make a return soon but asked me not to mention that person.

The six-person tag match came and did its filler job putting Bailey pinning Charlotte who is the Woman Champ. Now this would make the fourth time in two months that Bailey has taken the queen and pinned her for the 3 count. So they are setting up a raw match between the two for the title and being that charlotte is undefeated in PPV title matches.  So the only way to keep that in check without sacrificing content going to post online etc I see the need for these stories and so on but why make it so difficult to.

So Goldberg who has washed his hands with Brock Leaner and further exploiting that he has more victories and it’s her title to take. So now they will face one last time at wrestle mania and the coveted idea that they both will turn in a instant classic amazing run by one or the other. Much better than their match over 12 years age that smelled up the ring so horribly that you can be glad you were not there.

So it is unclear who will be the number contender to face the champ at mania and more interesting than that is guys like Jericho and Kurt Angle are so good even at the age of 37 and 44 respectively. They just never got the chance to fill many open spots at the top. . In the end its clear that it will be a delayed storyline finish under the circumstances.

So with very little enticing I cant help but say this. The WWE has survived and prospered from every event even with things going bad, However in this case with the storylines all over the place and it being consumer season it may make for a difficult thing to continue with the failing storylines and the oddities that are not carrying the format out in their writing history.

Over all I wil give the show RAW a 6 ½ star rating due to the 4.5 rating in views is on the decline on The Current with the time frame and view ship it is far lower than just a few months back we had that heat wave when the raiding showed Raw with over 8 million weekly viewers.

As much as the fans were so incredibly angry at this outcome it was clearly the only course of action over the incredibly tough situation that is causing RAW to scramble and keep their feet under them in order to achieve great things.

Sorry not my best breakdown of a show and not worded well either but be sure to checkout the next installment of Ripp’d a New One and where I review smack down live and give you my “How I would book it” and my rumored match ideas and predictions for the big event.

              Until then thank you WWE universe ad get ready for the speed train cause PPV fast lane and elimination chamber are coming and it will be difficult to rewrite the books in order to have the storylines play out properly before Mania and scratch the ones who just don’t fit into the plans even just for now.

Blood drive

There are many resources that we as a society never can have enough of. Blood is one such valuable resource. ARC campus will hold a blood drive Tuesday, March 7 and Wednesday, March 8.

Organizers encourage ARC students and any other willing donors are encouraged to show up.  

According to the ARC website event all those wishing to donate blood are asked to drink plenty of fluids prior to attending and be sure to have alternate plans of travel for safety reasons if needed.

All blood types are needed of course and whether male or female and a student or not anyone can be a donor .

Giving an ample amount of time to go through the process is always suggested as well.

There may be a wait but there is certainly a possible wait after time as well.

This and many blood drives like it are always available in many locations and ARC has been doing these for sometime now.

The program starts at 9 a.m. and goes on until 3 p.m.

The drive will be held near parking lot B by the parking structure.

There is only two days available according to ARC’s calendar of events . So those wishing to be donors should not wait til the last minute to visit the blood drive  .
